TutorCentral tutors are validated the following ways:
- TutorCentral requests copies of tutor credentials and qualifications that support the subjects they opt to teach.
- TutorCentral requests a copy of tutor ID with picture. A TutorCentral agent meets with the tutor to validate their identity. For remote locations, tutors must be validated through a video conference interview.
- TutorCentral tutors are validated against the national sex offender registry.
- TutorCentral requests the names and contact of at least two references for each tutor.
- TutorCentral ratings and evaluation system allows a tutor to build a solid track record of performance in tutoring the subjects they have registered to teach. Parents and students should consider those ratings and comments from other tutors in making a choice.
