Make an Scheduled Tutoring request            Tutorial Homepage

 

 

Scenario:  A Students needs help on understanding the concept of a one sided limit theorem problem in Pre-Calculus. He has a test next week and he is unable to find tutoring assistance at his school. Tutor Central can help, but first you must register.

    1. From the student homepage, click the on the link, Tutoring Request.  You will be directed to the "Tutoring request page" page, as shown below. Click the button, New Request. It will open up a pop up window - see next picture.

 

 

A pop up box will open up and you will enter your request as seen in the example below. Select your preferred tutor from the list in the drop down menu. Click here to search Tutor Central tutor databae. Your request for tutoring will be sent to the selected tutor's Tutor Central email address. Click the Submit button when you have finished entering your request. Click the Home button to return to your personal homepage. For immediate assistance, contact Tutor Central.

 

 

   2. When the selected tutor receives your request in his Tutor Central free email account, he would simply log into his homepage, select the link View My Tutoring Schedule. A pop up box like the one below comes up and after reviewing your reqest, he may choose to either accept your request or decline it by selecting the Drop This Request or Confirm This Request link.

    3. When the tutor respond to your request, an email will be generated by Tutor Central website software and sent to your email address on file and your Tutor Central message box, providing you with his response. If your request was decline, simply follow steps 1 again, but this time, select a different tutor. If the tutor accepts your request, he will contact you to set up a date and time to schedule tutoring. Contact Tutor Central if assistance is needed.
