TutorCentral Homework/Assignment Submission Rules

Ethical

Learning
The first purpose of this service is to help you learn (accomplish the objective of the course you are studying). The second objective is to prepare you to receive the maximum grade for your course. You should:

  1. Do not cheat. Submitting homework/class tests solely for the purpose of having someone else solve them for you is cheating yourself and others, and defeating the learning objective.
  2. Make every effort to solve a homework question/assignment before submitting it for help.
  3. Submit with your question your steps, understanding, and/or genuine effort you made in attempting to solve the problem.
  4. In addressing your problem and explaining the approach(es) to solve it, in most cases, tutors may not provide the final answer but guide you very closely towards the solution.
  5. Check the database of posed questions, homework solutions, and textbook problem solutions to see if your problem or similar one is already solved.
  6. Even though response is indicated within 24 hours, do not leave your questions to the last minute so that you have time for review and possible follow-up.
  7. If you need more fundamental assistance with the topic, contact a TutorCentral administrator to arrange tutoring or schedule tutoring with one of our certified, validated tutors.
Technical

Rules Governing Homeworks/Assignments:

  1. Please try to submit only one question per assignment. Questions may contain sub-questions which are related in the way the question is posed (e.g. 1(a), 1(b).)
  2. When more than one question is submitted, the totals for your subscription level are reflected accordingly.
  3. In cases of a dispute on question count, between the grading tutor and the student, TutorCentral assessment of question count is final.

Rules Governing Writing/Essay/Reports Assessment:

  1. The first two pages (estimated at 10pt Times Roman font and letter paper size) counts for one question. Every subsequest 5 pages count as a question.
  2. In cases of a dispute on page count, between the grading tutor and the student, TutorCentral assessment of page count is final.
